Food Awards
We have noted next to an eating place entry where an AA rosette or Michelin star* has been awarded, as these are readily recognisable to visitors. However, you may find that an eating place has received awards that we have not been able to include here. Where a website link is available to an eating place, you may wish to follow this to view more details.
*The Michelin system remains the most famous star system. A single star denotes "a very good restaurant in its category", two stars "excellent cooking, worth a detour", and three stars, "exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey".
